Training and Development system at PT United Tractors Tbk enables employees
to grow with the organization. The company is working to achieve incremental
development by promoting the concept of continuous, ongoing learning on
all employees. A comprehensive development program is continuously conducted
to ensure that the employees are equipped with the right skills and behavior.
In this manner, our employee will develop the confidence, credibility,
and integrity to ensure that we achieve our goal to become a world-class
company that consistently provide the highest possible service to our
customers.
Technical, behavioral, managerial and leadership training programs, set
in both formal and non-formal context have been intensified throughout the
year for employees. Behavioral, Managerial and Leadership trainng programs
are organized to continually create leaders in this ever-changing new economy.
Technical training for our mechanics, in particular,
is intensively conducted internally both in class and in field. Four modern
and well-equipped Training Centre
located in Jakarta, Pakanbaru, Samarinda and Ujung Pandang were established
to undergo effective training. Close partnership with our Principals enables
us to send our mechanics to learn new or modified technology directly
at their location in Japan and/ or Germany.
In addition to working to achieve improvement in intellectual capacity,
working skills and business sense of our employee, the Company has also
developed employee’s annual performance and career review process. Through
a 360 Degree Feedback program, employees are able to develop perspective
on their management style and skills. This new system of Performance Evaluation
provides a complete picture of what and how an employee arrives at his/
her agreed level of performance. Coaching, mentoring and planning are
also provided by the managers to help employees shape an action plan to
achieve their short-term and long-term career goals.
