Policy on Environment Health Safety , Social Responsibility & Security of PT United Tractors Tbk and Subsidiaries
 
With regard to the exceptionally dynamic business development, the Company that is involved in Construction Machinery, Mining Contracting and Energy is consistently integrating the three fundamental elements transcribed in the Triple Bottom Line, that covers of economy, social and environment as the strategy to secure its business sustainability.

The Company is committed to consistently implementing the Astra Green Company (AGC), Astra Friendly Company (AFC) and Security Management System (SMS) in synergy and integrated in each of the Company's activity to create a safe and comfortable condition for the employees and environment, in addition to improve quality of life of the community in the surrounding areas.

In order to achieve the best performance in each field, each installation (branches, sites, subsidiaries) is required to perform the following steps:

  1. Establish qualified task-force or executive board to ensure well-executed implementation in each field.
  2. Prepare the required infrastructure in accordance to the defined standards.
  3. Assign top management in each installation as the main drivers.
  4. Conduct sufficient communication and networking with all the stakeholders.
In the field of Environment, Health and Safety, each installation is required to:
  1. Achieve a minimum of “Green” AGC rating.
  2. Obtain Zero Accident rate.
  3. Utilize natural resources as effectively as possible to attain an annual 5% reduction.

In the field of Social Responsibility, each installation is required to:

  1. Achieve a minimum of “Three Stars” AFC rating.
  2. Achieve Zero Complaint from the stakeholder.
  3. Rendering social assessment in the Company's surrounding areas (Ring 1).

In the field of Security, each installation is required to:

  1. Achieve a minimum of “Blue” SMS rating.
