Segmen Usaha Mesin Konstruksi

Segmen Usaha Kontraktor Penambangan

Bidang usaha Kontraktor Penambangan dioperasikan oleh PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA). Sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019, PAMA membukukan peningkatan pendapatan bersih sebesar 11% menjadi Rp19,3 triliun. PAMA mencatat peningkatan volume produksi batu bara sebesar 7% dari 56,6 juta ton menjadi 60,8 juta ton, sementara itu volume pekerjaan pemindahan tanah (overburden removal) meningkat 5% dari 445,5 juta bcm menjadi 469,0 juta bcm.

Segmen Usaha Pertambangan Batu Bara

Bidang usaha Pertambangan Batu Bara dijalankan oleh PT Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA). Total penjualan batu bara sampai semester pertama tahun 2019 mencapai 4,9 juta ton termasuk 674 ribu ton batu bara kokas, naik apabila dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun 2018 sebesar 4,4 juta ton. Pendapatan unit usaha Pertambangan Batu Bara mencatat peningkatan sebesar 13% menjadi Rp6,8 triliun.

Segmen Usaha Pertambangan Emas

Pertambangan Emas dijalankan oleh PT Agincourt Resources yang mengoperasikan tambang emas Martabe di Tapanuli Selatan, Sumatera Utara. Sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019 total penjualan emas dari Martabe Gold Mine sebanyak 194.000 ons, sedangkan pendapatan bersih unit usaha Pertambangan Emas sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019 adalah sebesar Rp3,6 triliun.

Segmen Usaha Industri Konstruksi

Bidang usaha Industri Konstruksi dijalankan melalui PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACSET).

PT United Tractors Tbk (“the Company”) posted a net income of Rp38.9 trillion during the first half of 2018, an increase of 32% compared to Rp29.4 trillion in the same period in 2017. This increase in net income was driven by improved performance from all lines Company’s business. Each business unit, namely: Construction Machinery, Mining, Mining, and Construction Industries respectively contributed 36%, 45%, 15% and 4% to the total consolidated net income.

Improved operational performance and higher revenue margins led to an increase in the Company’s net profit to grow by 60% to reach Rp.5.5 trillion compared to net profit in the same period in 2017 amounting to Rp3.4 trillion.

Construction Machinery Business Segment

In the first half of 2018, the Construction Machinery business segment recorded an increase in sales of Komatsu heavy equipment by 37% to 2,400 units, compared to 1,751 units in the same period in 2017. The increase in sales of heavy equipment was mainly driven by increased sales in the mining, plantation, and construction. Komatsu was able to maintain its position as heavy equipment market leader, with a domestic market share of 36% (source: internal market research). Sales of other brand products, UD Trucks, increased from 276 units to 417 units, while sales of Scania products slightly fell from 553 units to 533 units.

In total, net revenue from the Construction Machinery business segment increased by 24% to Rp13.9 trillion.

Mining Contracting Business Segment

Construction Industry Business Segment

The Construction Industry business is run through PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACSET).
Business competition is every day’s reality not only among individuals or corporations but also among countries. The business competition should be addressed with hard work and efficient system. Bearing this in mind, the government of Indonesia has initiated to build the Bonded Logistics Centers (Pusat Logistik Berikat / PLB) serving as multi-function logistics warehouse for import and local goods by withholding the import duty and exempting value the added tax (PPN) and enabling operational flexibility. President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo officially opened the PLB in March 2016.

The legal basis for construction of the PLB is the Government Regulation (PP) No. 85 year 2015 on the amendment of the PP No. 32 year 2009 on the bonded warehouse and the amendment of the Finance Minister Regulation (PMK) No. 272//PMK.04/2015 on the bonded logistics center. The PLBs are located across Indonesia and they comprise multiple products, from automotive to industrial raw materials.

United Tractors’ PLB

As a company constantly improving its service for the customer, UT also utilizes this facility. Registered as one of the companies in the PLB, UT now owns two bonded locations, which were chosen to reach out its customers, in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan and Cilincing, North Jakarta.

The presence of the PLB can facilitate logistics process by cutting the trade chain. The product, initially to be exported, is diverted for the home market, shortening customer’s lead time for heavy equipment or spare parts needed. Customers also enjoy the benefit from exempted VAT (value added tax), getting heavy equipment and spare parts at more affordable prices.
