The workshop provides a platform to discuss and exchange perspectives on journalism’s role in maintaining public trust amid advances in artificial intelligence (AI).

As an annual program, the UT Group Media Workshop provides an opportunity for UT to maintain positive and sustainable relationships with media partners while sharing insights into emerging issues and trends in journalism. This year, the event brings together 65 journalists, including reporters and editors from various national media outlets. The agenda includes a keynote speech, panel discussion, question-and-answer session, and the announcement of the 2026 Journalist Competition winners.

Data is collected using the Multistage Area Random Sampling method, with Top of Mind Awareness (TOMA) as a parameter for measuring brand recognition and popularity among the public.

Jakarta, September 22, 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through its UTACTION and INDITY pillars, has collaborated with Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) DKI Jakarta to strengthen women’s capacity in facing disaster situations via the Aksi Perempuan Tangguh (“Resilient Women’s Action”) 2026 program. Held over two days (September 21-22, 2026) at the BPBD DKI Jakarta headquarters, the event was attended by female representatives from five regions across DKI Jakarta. Participants included Kader Kampung Tangguh Bencana (KATANA) (“Disaster Resilient Village Cadres”), Kader UMKM (“MSME Cadres”), and Kader Bank Sampah (“Waste Bank Cadres”) from East Jakarta.

The Aksi Perempuan Tangguh program serves as a platform for participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling emergencies, covering topics such as disaster preparedness, first aid, fire rescue operations, and the use of safety equipment. In addition to theoretical training, participants engaged in practical exercises through simulations and activities designed to hone their readiness to take action during emergency situations.

“Women play a vital role in building preparedness, not only for themselves but also for their families and surrounding communities. Through Aksi Perempuan Tangguh, we aim to provide training that equips participants to better handle emergencies and share that knowledge within their communities. We hope this collaboration serves as a joint effort to build a society that is increasingly resilient and responsive to disaster risks,” said Dimas Aryo Wicaksono, Corporate Social Responsibility Section Head UT.

The event was conducted in person over two days. On the first day, participants attended training sessions featuring speakers from Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), Forum Pengurangan Risiko Bencana (FPRB) DKI Jakarta, Dinas Penanggulangan Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan DKI Jakarta, Poliklinik UT (“UT Polyclinic”), and the UT Emergency Response Team (ERT). On the second day, the event continued with the Aksi Perempuan Tangguh Agility Challenge, designed to test the application of the knowledge and skills participants had acquired.

Participant enthusiasm was clearly evident during the Agility Challenge. The activity tested not only the participants’ understanding of the material provided but also their ability to collaborate, move quickly, and take appropriate action when facing simulated emergency situations. In the competition, the Central Jakarta Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) (“Family Welfare Movement”) team secured first place, followed by the UT-mentored Cadre Team from UD Trucks in second place, and the Tambora (West Jakarta) PKK team in third place. Additionally, the “Most Cohesive Team” award went to the UT-mentored Komatsu Team, the “Best Teamwork” award went to the fire department’s Dharma Wanita (“Women’s Association”) team, and the “Fastest Team” award went to the Gambir PKK team.

The event was opened by Yuni Wijayanti, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of the Disaster Data and Information Center at BPBD DKI Jakarta, and concluded by Ali Mansur Siregar, Executive Secretary of BPBD DKI Jakarta. UT played an active role in the event through the participation of its team members, Dr. Yansen from Poliklinik UT and Kahono from the UT Emergency Response Team (ERT), who served as resource persons and judges. This involvement was part of UT’s collaboration with various stakeholders to provide relevant and practical training for the participants.

Assessments are conducted comprehensively, considering various factors such as Contract Diagnostics, the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS), Critical Risk Management, High-Risk Activity Management, Contractor Technical Competency, Kaizen submissions, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and other compliance aspects.

PT Vale Indonesia presents the Best National Contractor award during the PT Vale Indonesia Contractor Appreciation Night, held at the PT Vale Indonesia TAB Hall in Soroako on September 4, 2026. Jakarta, September 2, 2026 – Preparing a competent workforce ready to meet industry needs is a crucial aspect of vocational education development. PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) continues to deliver on this commitment through UT School, which graduated 272 participants from the National Heavy Equipment Mechanic Program (Batch 38). Held under the theme “Creating an Outstanding, Internationally Standardized Generation for Mutual Benefit and Sustainability alongside Industry and Education Partners,” the graduation ceremony takes place at the Discovery Room of UT Corporate University (Corpu), Jakarta.  

The event is attended by UT Director and Advisor to Yayasan Karya Bakti United Tractors (YKBUT), Ari Sutrisno; YKBUT Chairperson, Endang Tri Handajani; Chairperson of Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP), Syamsi Hari, S.E., M.M.; Director of Competence and Productivity at Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR), Ir. Kimron Manik, M.Sc.; Director of PT Nihon, Andreas Thanos; a representative from PT Brexa Raya Indonesia, Ibnu Ahmad; as well as representatives from UT and YKBUT industry partners.  

The graduation proceedings include the formal induction of graduates, badge pinning, and the presentation of Basic Mechanic Course certificates. In his remarks, UT School Director Mochamad Hamdan Aziz said Batch 38’s achievements further strengthen UT School’s contribution to producing skilled workers ready to enter the industrial sector.  

“Today, we graduate 272 participants from the UT School National Heavy Equipment Mechanic Program. To date, UT School produces 9,445 alumni from its regular CSR programs, spread across the archipelago. Of that total, 212 alumni enter the Japanese job market; specifically, 202 alumni work there since 2021, while 10 are currently undergoing language and cultural training prior to their departure in September 2026,” says Aziz.  

Opportunities for global careers continue to open up through UT School’s collaborations with industry partners. Currently, UT School conducts a selection process to recruit 26 mechanics, facilitated by Scania, for placement in Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and New Zealand.  

In total, UT’s business partner programs and non-regular CSR support initiatives produce 44,608 graduates. When combined with graduates from the regular program, UT School has produced 54,058 graduates prepared to compete and thrive in the industrial sector.

To meet industry demands, UT School continuously develops its curriculum to align with industrial advancements. Industry-based learning is reinforced through technical competencies, certifications, English language proficiency, and technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and 3D printing. This learning process is underpinned by the internalization of the “INSANI” culture (encompassing Integrity, Courtesy, Expertise, and Courage), ensuring students possess not only technical skills but also the character traits needed to enter the workforce.

The collaboration between industry and vocational education is highlighted during the graduation ceremony through a video compilation featuring Batch 38 students and a dance performance by SMK Prestasi Agung, a school supported by UT under the SOBAT program. On this occasion, UT School, in partnership with UT’s CSR Division and YKBUT Press, launches the book Dasar-Dasar Teknik Alat Berat: Product Knowledge untuk SMK (Fundamentals of Heavy Equipment Engineering: Product Knowledge for Vocational High Schools). The copyright for the book is simultaneously handed over to UT as a contribution toward expanding access to relevant technical knowledge for vocational students.

The event proceeds with the symbolic presentation of Competency Certificates. Syamsi Hari, S.E., M.M., Chairperson of Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP), commended UT School for its consistent commitment to delivering vocational education aligned with industry needs and for fostering an increase in Indonesia’s certified workforce. 

Through industry-based education, stronger professional certification, and collaboration with industry and educational partners, UT School continues to serve as a bridge between education and industry needs. These efforts simultaneously reinforce UT’s role in preparing an outstanding generation, equipped with the competence and character to contribute and compete sustainably in both national and global labor markets.

Depok, August 24, 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) supported the National Launch of the DigiSkillBadge Ecosystem, organized by the Directorate of Vocational High Schools (SMK), Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen), at Felfest UI, Faculty Club, Universitas Indonesia, Depok, West Java. The initiative is part of an effort to establish a vocational education ecosystem that documents the competency journey of SMK students, encompassing their skills, experiences, works, and achievements throughout the learning process.

DigiSkillBadge serves as a digital competency recognition and portfolio system that enables students’ experiences and achievements to be documented in a more structured manner. Beyond serving as a record of the skills they have acquired, the portfolio can also provide evidence of competency, helping students showcase their capabilities to both educational institutions and the industry.

The launch brought together various stakeholders, including government representatives, educational institutions, education practitioners, the Indonesian Professional Certification Authority (BNSP), business and industry representatives, as well as other relevant partners. The National Launch of the DigiSkillBadge Ecosystem began with participant registration, a coffee morning, and a visit to the Directorate of SMK’s DigiSkill Expo. The event continued with a traditional dance performance, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and SMK March, a prayer, a report by the Director General of Secondary and Special Education at Kemendikdasmen, followed by remarks and the official opening. The DigiSkillBadge launch then featured an introductory video, press conference, and talk show titled “Future Starts with Skills: Portofolio Kompetensi Murid SMK,” which brought together representatives from the Directorate of SMK, education practitioners, and BNSP. The series of activities continued with another talk show, “Future Starts with Skills: Saatnya Talenta SMK Berkarya,” an application demonstration through a DigiSkillBadge tutorial video, closing remarks, and visits to partner and SMK booths.

Through its involvement in the DigiSkillBadge launch, UT continues to create opportunities for collaboration with the government and educational institutions to support young people’s readiness for the workforce.
