Karya Bakti UT Foundation

The Karya Bakti United Tractors Foundation (YKBUT) was established by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) on February 27, 2008. Aligning with its Corporate Social Responsibility vision and mission to advance Indonesian education, YKBUT founded the UT School that same year. This school trains prospective heavy equipment mechanics and operators.

On June 25, 2018, YKBUT established UT Group Day Care (UT D’CARE). This facility provides childcare for UT Group employees, ensuring a trusted environment for optimal child development, education, and care. It temporarily replaces parental roles while employees work.

The establishment of UT Group Daycare aligns with UT’s commitment to child welfare as outlined by the Association of Indonesian Friends of Children (APSAI), UNICEF, and the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection. This initiative encourages companies and communities to prioritize child welfare as a key focus of corporate social responsibility.

On 5 April 2019, YKBUT together with 9 Companies and 1 Association established the Indonesian Heavy Equipment Professional Certification Institute (LSP ABI) under the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), as a professional certification body in the field of heavy equipment. LSP ABI obtained a license as a 3rd party Certification Body from BNSP on March 6, 2013.
