Tenggarong, February 13, 2026 — The commitment to developing competent young generations who are ready to enter the industrial world is once again demonstrated by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Site Tenggarong through the donation of two heavy equipment components and the inauguration of a Safety Center Room at SMKN 3 Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.

This initiative is part of UT Site Tenggarong’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of vocational education in Indonesia. SMKN 3 Tenggarong, which offers a Heavy Equipment Engineering program, is regarded as a strategic partner in preparing highly skilled human resources aligned with the evolving needs of the heavy equipment industry.

Ahmad Badwi, Head of SMK Development at the Regional Education Office Branch III of East Kalimantan Province, expresses his appreciation for the continued synergy between industry and education. “We are grateful and highly appreciate this collaboration, which we hope continues. With the addition of practical training equipment for students, we expect their competencies to become increasingly relevant to market demands,” says Ahmad Badwi.

A similar sentiment is conveyed by Rachmad Anwar, Principal of SMKN 3 Tenggarong. He states that the facility support from UT Site Tenggarong significantly strengthens the school’s efforts to produce graduates who are not only technically proficient but also possess a strong safety mindset.

“We believe that the additional facility support provided by UT Site Tenggarong significantly strengthens our efforts to produce heavy equipment engineering graduates who are technically competent and ready to enter the workforce,” he remarks.

Representing the management of UT Site Tenggarong, Fajri Egha Alvian emphasizes that this collaboration reflects the company’s social responsibility in developing Indonesia’s human capital. “This collaboration continues sustainably with vocational education institutions as part of our corporate social responsibility in developing competent, high-integrity, and competitive human resources, ensuring that graduates are ready to enter the workforce upon completion of their studies,” he affirms.

In addition to donating heavy equipment components, United Tractors also inaugurates the Safety Center Room as a learning facility dedicated to occupational health and safety (OHS). The presence of the Safety Center represents a concrete step in instilling a safety culture from an early stage and fostering a strong safety mindset among students before they enter the industrial workforce.

The Safety Center is equipped with various safety training tools, including personal protective equipment (PPE) displays, fire extinguishers (APAR), electrical safety models, hand tools, hazard simulation props, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) training equipment, and other educational devices that comprehensively support hands-on learning.

Through this program, UT Site Tenggarong aims to further strengthen the synergy between industry and educational institutions to create an adaptive, relevant, and safety-oriented vocational education ecosystem focused on sustainability. Ultimately, Indonesia’s younger generation is expected not only to be job ready but also capable of contributing positively to the advancement of the national industry.
