Jakarta, January 21, 2026 – PT Bhumi Jati Power (BJP), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), successfully received two prestigious awards at the Indonesia Green Awards (IGA) La Tofi 2026, organized by La Tofi School of Social Responsibility and held at Hotel Kempinski Jakarta on January 21, 2026. This achievement serves as recognition of BJP’s consistent and sustainable commitment to implementing community empowerment programs.
At the event, BJP was awarded the Platinum Award in the CSR Program for Nature Conservation Tourism Development category through its Coastal Waste Management and Seaweed Cultivation toward the Green Tourism Area of Ombak Mati (OMBAK HIJAU) program. In addition, BJP’s President Director, Taichi Ichise, was honored with the Best Sustainability Leader award for his leadership in driving the implementation of good corporate governance practices and community empowerment initiatives in the areas surrounding the company’s operations.

The OMBAK HIJAU program is one of BJP’s flagship CSR initiatives, integrating various efforts such as increasing environmental awareness among coastal communities, revitalizing waste banks, and developing seaweed cultivation located in the Ombak Mati Beach area, Bondo Village. Meanwhile, the Best Sustainability Leader award bestowed upon Taichi Ichise reflects appreciation for his consistent leadership in applying sustainability principles and good corporate governance.
The Indonesia Green Awards La Tofi 2026 assessment process began with the submission of written works, followed by an evaluation by a panel of judges, and concluded with the announcement of the award recipients. The year 2026 marked BJP’s first participation in the awards and its first achievement at the event. The OMBAK HIJAU CSR program achieved a score of 87.36, earning the Platinum Award, while the Best Sustainability Leader for the Best 100 La Tofi ESG Rating awarded to Taichi Ichise received a score of 85.46.
Through this achievement, BJP reaffirms its commitment to continuously integrating sustainability aspects into all business activities.
