United Tractors Enhances Employee Emergency Preparedness Through 2025 Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge

In commemorating National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Month, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) holds the Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge 2025 at the UT Head Office area on April 29–30, 2025. The competition includes 20 sectors from UT’s operational areas, such as AHEMCE & PPI Cakung Tenants, YKBUT, Yard Sukapura, and Yard Jababeka, with each sector sending six representatives from their Emergency Response Team (ERT). The event aims to strengthen a culture of safety and preparedness for emergencies in the workplace.

The competition consists of two stages: a theoretical test and a practical test. During the theoretical stage, participants are tested on their knowledge of emergency response procedures. Among the 20 participating sectors, 15 successfully advance to the next stage—the field practicals. In the practical phase, participants undergo simulations of fire response using fire extinguishers and hydrants, as well as first aid skills such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), splinting, and victim evacuation. The simulation is designed in an amazing race format, requiring participants to demonstrate technical agility, team cohesion, strategic thinking, and the ability to respond swiftly under pressure.

This activity serves as both a competition and an engaging educational platform to instill the importance of OSH culture in the workplace. Furthermore, it fosters strong teamwork and effective communication among employees. Through this initiative, UT hopes to enhance participants’ understanding, readiness, and skills in dealing with emergencies swiftly, accurately, and responsibly—ultimately creating a safer and more responsive work environment.

The competition winners are selected in two categories: Best Team and Best Female Fire Extinguisher Operator (Srikandi APAR). The winners are as follows:
