Amid the fast-paced and demanding nature of the industrial world, PT Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia (KRA), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), stands firm in its belief that safety is not merely an obligation but a value ingrained in every aspect of work. This unwavering belief leads KRA to achieve global recognition.

At the President’s Health and Safety Award held by Komatsu Ltd., Japan, KRA receives the Outstanding Company Award in Health & Safety. This prestigious accolade reflects every KRA personnel’s operational excellence and tireless dedication in cultivating a comprehensive occupational health and safety (OHS) culture.

Mr. Takuya Imayoshi, President & CEO of Komatsu Ltd., personally presents the award to Jefri, Corporate Strategic & Sustainability Division Head, in a warm ceremony at Komatsu Limited’s headquarters in Japan.

“This award results from the collective commitment and hard work of all KRA personnel. We believe a safe and healthy workplace supports productivity and fosters strong character and unity. Moving forward, we continue to innovate and strengthen our OHS culture for a better future,” says Nasihin, Director of KRA.

One of the key evaluation metrics for this award is the Lost Time Injury (LTI) rate, which measures workplace safety based on the amount of work time lost due to accidents. This achievement demonstrates that KRA does not treat OHS as a mere administrative requirement but embeds safety as an integral part of its corporate identity.

This award is not the final destination but a stepping stone toward continued efforts to build a safe, comfortable, and sustainable workplace for all KRA personnel.
