Jakarta, July 11, 2025—Amid the evolving social and economic dynamics of a global city like Jakarta, compassion and collaboration remain essential keys to creating meaningful change. This is the consistent commitment demonstrated by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) through its various social initiatives. The Jakarta Provincial Government honored the company with the Derap Kerja Sama Jakarta (DKJ) Award 2025. The award ceremony was held at Jakarta City Hall and was personally presented by the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta.
“This award is not merely a form of recognition, but a reminder that collaboration and compassion are crucial foundations for building an inclusive and sustainable future. Through our ongoing programs, we hope to create real, tangible benefits for society,” said Himawan Sutanto, UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager.
UT received awards in two categories at the event: Economic Empowerment and Health. In the Economic Empowerment category, UT was recognized for its UMKM Business Development Institution program, which focuses on supporting and nurturing local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The goal is to help MSMEs become independent, competitive, and adaptive to dynamic economic shifts.
UT was awarded for its Srikandi Lestari program in the Health category, which supports integrated Posyandu (community health post) cadre training. This initiative emphasizes enhancing the capacity of local health workers, ultimately improving healthcare services for children, mothers, and older people. The program was initiated in response to Indonesia’s high stunting rate, and UT has taken an active role in addressing the issue. Through training, education, and field actions, Posyandu cadres are now better equipped to carry out their vital roles within communities.
UT’s programs were selected based on three core assessment indicators set by the DKJ Award 2025: sustainability, impact and evaluation, and innovation and creativity. Regarding effects, UT’s initiatives have demonstrated measurable improvements in both MSME income levels and public health service quality. From an innovation standpoint, UT has showcased a creative, locally driven approach that strengthens the success of its programs.
The DKJ Award 2025 selection process involved an independent panel of judges, including the Governor’s exceptional staff, relevant agency heads, academics, CSR experts, public figures, and social influencers. This diverse range of perspectives ensured an objective and comprehensive evaluation.
Through this recognition, United Tractors affirms that social responsibility is not just a corporate obligation, but a core value. With a spirit of collaboration and innovation, UT remains committed to continuing impactful programs that support sustainable development across Indonesia.
