In today’s ever-changing work environment, communication is not just a skill but a bridge that connects ideas, values, and collaboration. With this spirit, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) once again held the Communications Festival (COMMFEST) 2025, an inspiring platform for all UT Group employees to sharpen their communication skills, strengthen creativity, and build an authentic professional image.

The series of COMMFEST events officially kicked off with a seminar titled “Crafting Your Professional Image: The Art of Personal Branding through Communication” on August 21, 2025, at the UT Grand Ballroom, Jakarta. The hybrid seminar featured public speaker and independent communication facilitator Becky Tumewu, with Isabella Laras Anindyo from Corporate Communications KPP Mining as moderator. More than 800 UT Group employees participated in the event.

“Through COMMFEST 2025, we want to encourage all employees to realize that building a professional image is not only for personal benefit but also has an impact on fostering more open, inclusive, and collaborative communication in the workplace,” said Tri Puji Astuti, Corporate Sustainability Department Head of UT.

During the session, participants were guided to understand how to define their personal branding identity, enhance self-confidence in self-presentation, and consistently communicate personal values authentically. More than just self-image building, personal branding also serves as the foundation for creating a resilient work environment that supports long-term collaboration.

This spirit was further reinforced through COMMFEST’s internal competition, which ran from August 21 to September 21, 2025. The competition featured three categories: Creative Writing, Reels, and Photography. The goal was to provide a space for employees to share ideas, express themselves, and inspire others. All participants received e-certificates, while the best works were showcased through internal communication channels to inspire more members of the UT Group.

The highlight of COMMFEST 2025 will take place in mid-October 2025, coinciding with UT’s 53rd anniversary. During the celebration, UT will recognize and award competition winners and employees who have made the best contributions to communication.

Through COMMFEST 2025, UT provides a learning platform and instills awareness that every employee represents the face of the company. With practical, professional, and integrity-driven communication, individuals can grow together and deliver the best contribution for themselves, the company, and society.
