PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk, demonstrates its commitment to providing clean energy solutions. In collaboration with PT Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries (SRI), EPN completes the construction of a Rooftop Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with an installed capacity of 734.66 kWp at SRI’s production facility in Cileungsi.

“Through this project, we aim to deliver a tangible contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions while supporting the national industry’s ESG targets. For us, this collaboration with SRI is not merely about business but a form of active participation in building a greener energy future,” says EPN’s Director of Operational & Engineering, Eko Harry Ariadin.

The Rooftop Solar PV system projects to generate 799,130 kWh of electricity annually, directly contributing to a reduction of carbon emissions by up to 689.35 tons of CO₂ each year. This figure represents an environmental contribution equivalent to planting more than 31,000 trees annually, marking a significant step toward supporting sustainable industry practices.

President Director of PT Suryaraya Rubberindo Industries, Adiyono Eko Parwanto, emphasizes that the project is part of the Company’s sustainability strategy. “I hope this is not the end, but the beginning of future solar PV projects at our plants. May this collaboration grow stronger moving forward,” he says.

Also present at the inauguration ceremony are EPN’s Director of Business Development, Achmad Rizal Roesindrawan, and the Director of SRI, Zandhy Utama. The Company leaders affirm that this collaboration is expected to be a role model for other industry players in adopting renewable energy (RE) as part of their operational processes.

EPN believes the success of this project proves that implementing RE in the industrial sector is no longer just a discourse but a necessity and strategic opportunity. With more companies adopting environmentally friendly solutions, an industrial ecosystem that is greener, low-carbon, and globally competitive can be achieved.
