Kuala Lumpur, October 16 2025 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Group, through its subsidiaries PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) and PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP), successfully achieve two achievements at the ASEAN Energy Awards 2025. This competition is held in Southeast Asia by the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), an organization between governments that represent 10 ASEAN countries in the energy sector, and is held in parallel with the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) on October 15 – 17 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In this event, PAMA KPCS District successfully secured the 2nd runner-up position in the ASEAN Best Practice Competition for Energy Management in Buildings and Industries category. PAMA create innovations themed “Implementation of ISO 50001 and Auto Dispatch System for Energy Efficiency Improvement at Mining Activity”, which focused on increasing energy efficiency

Meanwhile, TOP receives the Best Small-Scale Coal Mining in Southeast Asia award in the ASEAN Coal Awards 2025 category. This international recognition was given for the company’s implementation of Good Mining Practices, contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that have positively impacted society and the environment. TOP was recognized for its excellence in managing a responsible, innovative, and sustainability-oriented coal mining operation, while also playing a key role in ensuring a reliable energy supply for the Southeast Asian region.

The award was presented directly by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, Yuliot Tanjung, to the President Director of PT Telen Orbit Prima, Arianto Sasono. “This award motivates us to continue delivering the best for all stakeholders, especially for the community, the nation, and the country. Aligned with the ASEAN Energy Awards 2025 theme, ‘Powering ASEAN: Bridging Boundaries, Building Prosperity’, this achievement reflects TOP’s commitment to strengthening collaboration and making a tangible contribution to support sustainable energy transition and shared prosperity,” said Arianto Sasono.
