The role of women, particularly mothers, remains a vital pillar in Indonesia’s economic and social development. Their commitment, resilience, and dedication were recognized through the Wonder Mom Awards 2025, a prestigious award event organized by Metro TV to honor inspiring mothers nationwide.

At the event, two women fostered by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) successfully received awards for their tangible contributions in the fields of environmental stewardship and economic empowerment. Haryati, an MSME entrepreneur under UT’s guidance, was honored with the “Excellent Mom in Urban Agriculture Movement” award, while Sere Rohana Napitupulu, a Waste Bank cadre fostered by UT, received the “Excellent Mom in Community Environmental Stewardship” recognition.

The award ceremony was held offline at the Grand Studio of Metro TV in Jakarta and was broadcast nationally on December 22, 2025, coinciding with Mother’s Day. Metro TV served as the awarding institution, aiming to recognize exceptional mothers who have made a positive impact on their families and communities.

The Wonder Mom Awards 2025 is an appreciation platform designed to recognize and strengthen the role of women, particularly mothers or mompreneurs, who have demonstrated resilience, innovation, and significant contributions to developing micro-enterprises and social initiatives within their communities. The event also serves as a source of inspiration, learning, and confidence-building for women entrepreneurs, empowering them to scale up their businesses, achieve economic independence, and contribute to sustainable development.

Haryati, the owner of MSME D’Shafa, has been part of UT’s CSR Economic Program since 2020. Through continuous assistance and capacity-building initiatives in collaboration with the Cakung Business Development Institute (LPB Cakung), Haryati has successfully developed an urban farming–based business, covering cultivation, processing, and marketing of urban agricultural products. Her dedication to empowering the surrounding community has positioned her as a local hero and an inspiring role model for other UT-assisted MSMEs.

Meanwhile, Sere Rohana Napitupulu, manager of the Bumi Malaka Asri Waste Bank, has collaborated with UT in developing a sustainable waste bank concept and community-based environmental management in East Jakarta. Her role as an environmental cadre has not only improved waste management practices but also fostered collective community awareness of environmental preservation while enhancing the economic value of waste management activities.

The achievements of Haryati and Sere reflect UT’s commitment to implementing corporate social responsibility programs that focus on economic empowerment and environmental sustainability. Through continuous mentoring, UT provides not only facilities but also strengthens community capacity and independence, creating long-term positive impacts.

UT believes that women play a strategic role in driving social and economic transformation. The recognition received by these fostered beneficiaries is expected to inspire more mothers across Indonesia to continue creating value, empowering themselves, and contributing to environmental preservation and community welfare.
