Jakarta, January 23, 2026 – Heavy rainfall continues to affect the Jabodetabek area since mid-January 2026, causing flooding in several locations, including the Ring 1 area of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Head Office. In response to this situation, UT swiftly initiates emergency response measures, demonstrating the Company’s care and commitment to supporting affected communities.

As an initial step, UT sets up emergency tents and establishes an evacuation post in front of UT Corporate University on January 18, 2026. The evacuation post is used by residents of RW 04 in Rawa Terate Subdistrict who are affected by flooding and need to evacuate for safety reasons. UT distributes logistical aid and ready-to-eat meals to nearby residents, including those from RW 06 and RW 01 of Cakung Barat.

These flood response efforts receive support and attention from various stakeholders. The UT evacuation post is visited by the Deputy for Logistics and Equipment of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Dra. Andi Eviana, M.Si., along with the Mayor of East Jakarta, Munjirin, S.Sos., M.Si., who directly observes the conditions on the ground. Throughout the operation, the UT-assisted Disaster-Resilient Village (Kampung Tangguh Bencana/KATANA) team plays an active role in managing the evacuation post, distributing logistics, and implementing coordinated emergency response procedures.

As part of the continued emergency response, UT also provides free healthcare services for affected residents. In collaboration with Klinik Pratama UT, free medical check-ups and treatment are delivered through the United Tractors Mobile Clinic program on January 21, 2026, in front of UT Corporate University. The services include general health examinations, medical consultations, and the distribution of medicines, focusing on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and pregnant women, to prevent potential post-flood health risks.

Meanwhile, community-based preparedness is further demonstrated through the active role of the UT-assisted KATANA Rawa Terate team. When flooding reoccurs on January 22, 2026, the KATANA team promptly conducts area monitoring, internal coordination, and operates a public kitchen to ensure that residents’ basic needs are met. Equipped with disaster preparedness training conducted in collaboration with UT, the KATANA team carries out emergency procedures swiftly, in a structured, collaborative manner, guided by the spirit of mutual cooperation.

This series of initiatives reflects UT’s ongoing commitment to being present alongside the community, not only through emergency assistance but also by strengthening community capacity and resilience. Through collaboration, care, and concrete actions, UT continues to deliver sustainable contributions in addressing various challenges, including disaster risks in areas surrounding the Company’s operations.
