Kickoff of the Basic Heavy Equipment Mechanic Training Scholarship Program organized by PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara and supported by UT School.
PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through UT School, supports the Basic Heavy Equipment Mechanic Training Scholarship Program organized by PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara. The program kickoff was held on March 10-11, 2026. This initiative marks a concrete step in enhancing the quality of human resources in Sumbawa Regency, particularly in the heavy equipment industry sector.
The event was attended by the Regent and Regional Secretary of Sumbawa Regency, representatives of the local government, and all district heads across Sumbawa. On the following day, the event was also attended by the Regent and Vice Regent of West Sumbawa Regency, along with local government officials and district heads, demonstrating strong support for the program’s implementation.
Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division of UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, stated that this program is part of UT’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce ready to compete in the industry. “We believe that human capital development is key to driving sustainable industrial growth. Through this program, UT fully supports Amman Mineral’s efforts to provide access to quality training for the younger generation in the region,” said Dianwahyu.
Through this program, a total of 32 selected participants in Batch 1 will undergo intensive training at UT School Jakarta. The program will continue with Batch 2, which is planned to be conducted at the Job Training Center (BLK) in Sumbawa and West Sumbawa.
Through this collaboration, the local governments, UT, and Amman Mineral hope that the program will create a sustainable positive impact—not only in improving the competence of local talent, but also in driving inclusive regional economic growth.
