Jakarta, April 6, 2026 – Job-ready graduates owe much to teachers who continually learn and adapt. To support this, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through UT School, launches the Basic Technical Course (BTC) 2026 program, demonstrating its commitment to strengthening vocational education in Indonesia.

The program officially launches today at the UT School Head Office in Cakung, East Jakarta, and runs until May 20, 2026. Twenty vocational high school (SMK) teachers from UT-assisted schools (SOBAT) across Indonesia participate, representing regions including Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua, all sharing a spirit of continuous learning and growth.

Participants undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure they are ready for the program. Over the next month, teachers engage in comprehensive learning, which includes in-class training, technical practice, industry internships, and a certification assessment. The opening ceremony features UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, Himawan Sutanto; UT School Vice Director, Setyo Haryadi; the UT School team; and UT’s CSR division.

In his speech, Himawan Sutanto emphasizes that the program is part of the Company’s ongoing commitment to enhance the quality of vocational education to align with industry needs.

“This program reflects UT’s commitment to enhancing the competencies of vocational educators to align with industry requirements, thereby producing job-ready and competitive graduates,” he states.

BTC 2026 serves as more than just a training program; it unites education and industry on a collaborative platform. UT School creates it to meet the growing need for educators who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into technological advancements aligned with industry standards, particularly in the heavy equipment sector.

Through a structured, application-based approach, UT School puts the link-and-match concept into practice. Teachers return to their schools with fresh perspectives and actively transfer the knowledge and experiences they gain to their students. This program exemplifies UT School’s commitment to producing adaptable, job-ready, and competitive graduates through ongoing educator development.
