Jakarta, 29 April 2026 – In commemoration of Kartini Day, PT. United Tractors Tbk (UT) reaffirms its commitment to the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) through an event titled “Kartini Masa Kini: Perempuan Tangguh, Keluarga Tangguh” (Kartini Today: Resilient Women, Resilient Families) in the UT Head Office Ballroom, Jakarta. This activity forms part of the company’s efforts to support women’s empowerment while strengthening family resilience as a main foundation for a sustainable and resilient society.
This activity is a collaboration with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNBP). The event features a series of inspiring talk shows and interactive workshops, attracting both employees and members of the public.
“Kartini Masa Kini: Perempuan Tangguh, Keluarga Tangguh” opens with a speech by the Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division of UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, who emphasizes that women play an important role not only within the family but also in supporting corporate sustainability and societal development. “United Tractors continues to create an inclusive environment where women have equal opportunities to grow, contribute, and lead across levels,” Dianwahyu states.
The event begins with an interactive talk show session discussing the role of women’s leadership in the contemporary era and the importance of family resilience. This session draws varied perspectives from government representatives, the industrial sector, and family representatives.

The Deputy Minister for Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Veronica Tan, attends as a keynote speaker and stresses the importance of women as agents of change in national development. Meanwhile, UT Director Vilihati Surya shares her insights from the industry perspective, discussing her leadership experience in a professional work environment.
Additionally, Nurul Khanifah, a representative of employees’ spouses, speaks about the role of women in preserving harmony and family resilience in day-to-day life. This discussion demonstrates that modern women effectively take on various roles, whether as individuals, professionals, or as pillars of the family.
As part of the event agenda, remaining attendees participate in an interactive makeup simulation, supported by Wardah as the event’s main sponsor. This session fosters a relaxed atmosphere and a sense of togetherness among participants.
Following the talk show, the Deputy Minister visits UT D’CARE to appreciate UT’s social-first initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and on strengthening women’s roles in professional work environments. This visit highlights UT’s commitment to gender equity and women’s empowerment through sustained program implementation rather than one-off, ceremonial initiatives.
Participants also engage in a disaster preparedness workshop facilitated by BNBP, featuring Melissa Aprilia as a keynote speaker. This interactive segment equips participants, especially mothers, with practical skills and knowledge required to respond to emergency situations, from understanding disaster risks to planning family evacuations.
In collaboration with Yayasan Daya Dara Indonesia (LovePink), an organization that campaigns for early breast cancer detection, the event raises awareness of women’s health by providing free breast ultrasounds (USG).
Through this initiative, UT demonstrates that the commemoration of Kartini Day goes beyond ceremonial display; it serves as a true momentum to strengthen the company’s commitment to equity, empowerment, and inclusivity. By combining inspiration, education, and practical skills, UT aims to support women in confidently embracing their multifaceted roles and becoming key drivers in building resilient families and societies.
