Tuban, June 26, 2026 – In commemoration of World Environment Day 2026, PT United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), collaborates with Sugihan Village to conduct a fruit tree planting initiative in the community-managed agro-tourism area surrounding the company’s operational site. The initiative reflects UTSG’s commitment to environmental conservation while strengthening community empowerment through the development of sustainable agriculture- and tourism-based economic opportunities.

The tree planting activity brings together representatives from the company, the village government, and the agro-tourism management team. A total of 40 longan tree seedlings are planted as a tangible effort to preserve ecological balance while generating long-term economic benefits for the local community through future harvests that support the development of the agro-tourism area.

Through this initiative, UTSG not only contributes to climate change mitigation efforts but also supports improved air quality, biodiversity conservation, and stronger environmental resilience in the areas surrounding its operations. The program is aligned with the company’s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles through initiatives that create shared value for both communities and the environment.

Moving forward, UTSG continues to strengthen collaboration with the government, local communities, and other stakeholders to implement sustainable environmental conservation and community empowerment programs. These efforts are aligned with UT’s sustainability aspirations to create a positive and lasting impact on the environment, society, and future generations.
