Jakarta, 9 July 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (Astra), hosts the Opening Ceremony of the Astra Security Competitions (ASC) 2026 as part of Astra Group’s commitment to enhancing the professionalism, competency, and synergy of security personnel across its business units. The competition serves as a platform for the best security officers from Astra Group companies to sharpen their capabilities while strengthening collaboration in fostering a safe and sustainable working environment.
Held at the Grand Ballroom of the UT Head Office, the event is attended by the Head of the Indonesian National Police Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam), Police Commissioner General Karyoto, along with representatives from Baharkam Polri, the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya), the North Jakarta Military District Command (Kodim 0502/Jakarta Utara), and executives from Astra Group and its subsidiaries. Also in attendance are Astra Director and UT President Commissioner Frans Kesuma, UT President Director Iwan Hadiantoro, UT Director Ari Sutrisno, Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto, Astra Head of Corporate Security Division Selly Irfandy, PT Sigap Prima Astrea President Director Eko Prasetyo, and other Astra company leaders. Their presence reflects strong collaboration among stakeholders in supporting the development of security professionals.
UT Director Ari Sutrisno emphasizes that the role of security personnel has evolved into a strategic function in ensuring business continuity.

The opening ceremony begins with the screening of the ASC Journey video, which highlights the evolution of the Astra Security Competitions as a platform for developing the capabilities of security personnel across Astra Group. The event continues with the symbolic handover of the Astra Security Competitions × Baharkam Polri rotating trophy, marking the official commencement of this year’s competition and reaffirming the spirit of sportsmanship in advancing security excellence across Astra companies.

The official opening of ASC 2026 marks the beginning of a series of competitions involving security personnel from various Astra Group companies. As the host, UT proudly supports the event as a platform for sharing best practices, strengthening competencies, and fostering collaboration among security professionals in addressing increasingly complex security challenges.
Following the opening ceremony, invited guests witness the Astra Security Performance Simulation, featuring a series of demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of security personnel. The performances include Astra’s signature baton techniques, a crowd control simulation by the UT security team, a firefighting simulation by the Astra Honda Motor fire rescue team, a karate demonstration by Astra Otoparts, a counter-terrorism simulation by the Gegana unit of the Indonesian National Police, and a high-angle rescue simulation by the PAMA Persada team. These demonstrations highlight the preparedness, coordination, and professionalism of security personnel in responding to a wide range of emergency situations.
