Tuban, July 29, 2026 – PT United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), demonstrates its commitment to supporting the enhancement of vocational education quality in Indonesia by donating practical training equipment to Politeknik Semen Indonesia (POLTEKSI). This initiative forms part of the company’s efforts to support the competency development of the younger generation, ensuring they are better prepared to meet the demands of the industrial sector.
To support learning activities at POLTEKSI, UTSG donates 1 dump truck engine, 1 dump truck transmission, and 1 excavator hydraulic boom cylinder. Although this equipment is no longer used in the company’s daily operations, it remains suitable as educational tools to support students’ practical training in heavy equipment and mechanical engineering.
A representative from the Corporate Asset Department, accompanied by UTSG’s CSR Department Head and Security Unit Section, conducts the symbolic handover of the donation to a representative of POLTEKSI. UTSG CARM Department Head Mashadi states that this collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment between the industrial and educational sectors to empower and develop human resources.
“Through this collaboration, the company strives to make a real contribution to the educational sector. We hope that the donation of this engine unit and heavy equipment components serves as useful practical training tools for students to improve their technical competencies, providing a more applicable learning experience aligned with industry needs,” says Mashadi.
Echoing this sentiment, UTSG SHE & CSR Department Head Zakiyatul Fahmi adds that the company focuses not solely on business sustainability but also on actively supporting human resource development.
