Jakarta, August 19, 2026 – Amid rapid technological advancements and evolving business dynamics, human capital is a critical driver of growth and adaptation for companies. This is reflected in PT United Tractors Tbk (UT)’s commitment to developing capabilities that remain relevant to business needs while creating a sustainable impact. This commitment is recognized through the Indonesia Distinguished Human Capital Leader Award 2026, presented to Ari Sutrisno, Director of Human Capital, Communications & Sustainability at UT, at the Indonesia Human Capital Award XII 2026 (IHCA-XII-2026), held at the Thamrin Nine Ballroom, Chubb Square, Jakarta.

“Amid rapid technological advancements and increasingly dynamic business environments, Human Capital plays a strategic role in ensuring that organizations can adapt and continue to grow. At UT, people development represents a long-term investment to build capabilities relevant to business needs while creating a broader impact,” states Ari Sutrisno.

The award recognizes Ari Sutrisno’s leadership and contributions to advancing Human Capital development, both within UT and at the national level. This recognition reflects his proven leadership track record, tangible impact on business performance, achievements, and strong professional integrity and reputation. His active involvement in the Human Capital community, reputation as a thought leader in the field, and contributions to talent development and the advancement of Human Capital practices in Indonesia form key considerations in the assessment.

The assessment process is conducted by the IHCA 2026 Jury, comprising experienced professionals and practitioners from diverse backgrounds, including academics, Human Capital consultants, industry leaders, and national figures. The breadth of expertise and experience among the jury members provides a comprehensive perspective in evaluating candidates’ track records, achievements, integrity, reputation, and contributions to Human Capital development. This further reinforces the award’s credibility as recognition from professionals and experts in the field.

Carrying the theme “From Human Capital to Human Capability – Creating Competitive Advantage in the Age of AI and Disruption,” IHCA-XII-2026 highlights the importance of shifting the role of Human Capital from managing resources to developing human capabilities that can create competitive advantage. The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and evolving business environments encourage companies to build increasingly adaptive and innovative individuals and organizations prepared for the future.

In line with this perspective, UT views people development as a long-term investment and a foundation for sustainable growth. For UT, having strong human capital is not only about possessing the competencies required today but also about building readiness to navigate future challenges. By placing people at the heart of its business journey, UT fosters an environment that encourages growth, drives innovation, and makes positive contributions to business sustainability and Indonesia’s development.
