Symbolic handover of production equipment from United Tractors, Bhumi Jati Power, and Bhumi Jepara Service to Desa Sejahtera Astra Les.

Buleleng, July 28, 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), together with its subsidiaries PT Bhumi Jati Power (BJP) and Bhumi Jepara Service (BJS), reaffirmed its commitment to creating sustainable benefits for local communities through the handover of production equipment to Desa Sejahtera Astra (DSA) Les Village, Tejakula District, Buleleng Regency, Bali. As one of the villages supported by the Astra Group, DSA Les Village embraces the nyegara-gunung concept, which integrates the potential of coastal and mountainous areas through development programs in health, education, environment, and entrepreneurship. These initiatives aim to empower the community to develop local potential independently and sustainably.

As part of the collaborative initiative, UT, BJP, and BJS management symbolically handed over one hand tractor, one automatic coconut milk extraction machine, and two coconut grating machines to the Head of Les Village. The equipment is expected to support the development of the agricultural sector and downstream processing of coconut products, thereby creating sustainable economic benefits for the local community.

Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division of UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, stated that community empowerment is an important part of the Company’s commitment to creating sustainable social impact.

“UT believes that the success of an empowerment program should not only be measured by the assistance provided, but also by the community’s ability to continue growing and becoming self-reliant. Through the support of these production equipment, we hope the people of Desa Sejahtera Astra Les can increase productivity, create added economic value, and develop local potential sustainably, while preserving their cultural heritage and local wisdom,” said Dianwahyu.

In addition to the handover ceremony, the visit also provided an opportunity to directly review the progress of development programs at DSA Les Village and engage in dialogue with beneficiary communities. The agenda also included an observation of Les Village’s traditional salt production, a practice passed down through generations that serves as both an important part of the community’s cultural identity and a promising local economic potential.

Since 2024, development programs at DSA Les Village have benefited the community through various initiatives in health, education, environment, and entrepreneurship. The program has also supported the development of the village’s tourism potential, with the average number of tourist visits increasing each year, thereby contributing positively to local economic growth.

Going forward, UT will continue to strengthen collaboration with the Astra Group, the government, and various stakeholders to deliver empowerment programs that contribute to improving the quality of life of local communities. In line with the Company’s sustainability aspirations, UT remains committed to growing together with communities through initiatives that create sustainable economic, social, and environmental benefits.
