Bali, September 10, 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) successfully secured three awards at the grand awarding ceremony of the 2026 Environmental and Social Innovation Awards (ENSIA), organized by PT SUCOFINDO (Persero) at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. Centered on the theme “Innovation for Sustainable Business and Resilient Community,” ENSIA 2026 serves as a platform to recognize businesses that introduce environmental and social innovations in support of sustainable development. At the event, UT won a Platinum award in the Hazardous and Toxic Waste Reduction & Utilization category through its SHIFT (Sustainable Hazardous Waste Improvement for Future Transformation) program, as well as Silver awards in the Social Innovation category (via the Srikandi Lestari program) and the Biodiversity Protection category (via the Living Biodiversity Landscape program).
These three innovations demonstrate UT’s commitment to delivering sustainability solutions that benefit both the environment and the community. SHIFT promotes improved hazardous waste management as part of strengthening environmental performance; Srikandi Lestari focuses on empowering Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) cadres to enhance community capacity; and Living Biodiversity Landscape integrates Timor deer conservation, tree planting, and bird banding to support biodiversity preservation while creating social value.

ENSIA 2026 evaluates corporate innovations based on novelty, environmental and socio-economic impact, collaboration, sustainability, replication potential, and contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this assessment process, the event encourages companies to introduce innovations that generate tangible, lasting impacts for both the environment and society. The ENSIA 2026 event comprised a series of activities, including registration, a safety induction, the opening ceremony, welcome remarks, a keynote speech, a talk show, the judging of innovation booths, and the awards session.
Attendees included the Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, S.Hut., M.P.; the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency, Moh Jumhur Hidayat; the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rachmat Pambudy, M.S.; the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster; the CEO of PT IDSurvey (Persero), Ari Sudono; and the President Director of PT SUCOFINDO (Persero), Sandry Pasambuna.
