Jakarta, September 30, 2025 – PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), receives recognition for its commitment to promoting economic independence among local communities in the agricultural sector. Through its flagship initiative, the Millennial Farmers Program, the Company earns the Silver Award at the Bisnis Indonesia Social Responsibility Award (BISRA) 2025, held in Jakarta on September 30, 2025.
Noviandri, Director and Chief Financial Officer of PT Agincourt Resources; Christine Pepah, Senior Manager of Community; and Teresia Prahesti, Superintendent of Communications and Outreach Strategy, receive the award as acknowledgment of the Company’s continuous efforts to enhance the capacity and competitiveness of local agriculture through youth empowerment.

The Millennial Farmers Program serves as a strategic initiative designed to strengthen the capabilities of young farmers in developing modern, productive, and environmentally responsible agricultural practices. Through a combination of training, mentoring, and facilitation of access to technology and market networks, the program builds a sustainable agricultural ecosystem that supports food security while fostering economic independence among communities surrounding PTAR’s operational areas.
Through the BISRA 2025 Award, PTAR reinforces its commitment as a responsible mining company that not only focuses on operational excellence but also integrates social responsibility to create long-term value and sustainability for the surrounding communities.
About the Martabe Gold Mine
The Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mining area covers approximately 30 km² within a sixth-generation Contract of Work (CoW) area totaling 1,303 km². The Martabe Gold Mine is on the western side of Sumatra Island, specifically in Batang Toru Sub-District, South Tapanuli, North Sumatra.
The Martabe Gold Mine commenced full production on July 24, 2012, and, as of June 30, 2024, has a resource base of 6.1 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver. Its operational capacity exceeds 6 million tons of ore per year, and it produces more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.
PT Agincourt Resources employs more than 3,000 workers and contractors, of whom approximately 99% are Indonesian nationals and more than 70% are residents of nearby villages. PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (PTDTN) holds 95% ownership of PT Agincourt Resources.
Agincourt Resources’ ESG Commitment
PTDTN is a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk, with 60% share ownership, and PT Pamapersada Nusantara, with 40% ownership, both part of the Astra International Group. The remaining 5% shares of PT Agincourt Resources are owned by the Government of South Tapanuli Regency and the Government of North Sumatra Province.
