Jakarta, September 16, 2025 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and its subsidiaries, PT Tuah Turangga Agung (Turangga Resources) through PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB) and PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), successfully achieve awards at the Environmental and Social Innovation Awards (ENSIA) 2025. These awards highlight UT Group’s innovative initiatives that support environmental and social sustainability. ENSIA 2025 is organized by PT Sucofindo and held onsite at Birawa Assembly Hall, Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta.
UT receives two Platinum Awards for excellence in the categories of Water Efficiency and Pollution Reduction through the Water Advancement for Value and Efficiency (WAVE) program, and in Hazardous Waste Reduction and Utilization through its integrated waste management initiative, UT B3RSATU: United Tractors’ Integrated and Safe B3 Waste Management Program. ABB wins three awards, including a Silver award in the Emission Reduction category, a Gold award in the Waste Management category, and a Platinum award in the Biodiversity Protection category. Meanwhile, SMM receives a total of seven awards, including a Silver Award for Emission Reduction, three Gold Awards in the categories of Energy Efficiency, Waste Management, and Social Innovation, as well as three Platinum Awards for initiatives in Water Efficiency and Pollution Reduction, Hazardous Waste Management, and Biodiversity Protection. SMM’s performance reflects a strong commitment to comprehensive environmental and social innovation.

Held under the theme “Innovation for Socio-Economic and Ecological Harmony,” ENSIA 2025 reinforces the importance of balanced sustainable development that integrates environmental, social, and economic dimensions. First launched in 2022, this event honors companies that present innovative solutions in social and ecological areas. The 2025 ceremony attracts several key figures from across sectors, including Deputy Minister of Environment and Forestry, Diaz Faisal Malik Hendropriyono; Chief Operating Officer of Danantara Indonesia, Dony Oskaria; and Waste Management Expert from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and CEO of Waste4Change, Mohammad Bijaksana Junerosano.
During the selection process, UT Group’s initiatives are evaluated based on several key indicators, including the originality and uniqueness of each program, their environmental and cost efficiency impact, the scale and replicability of the projects, and their alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These recognitions affirm UT Group’s strong commitment to integrating environmental and social aspects into its business practices, particularly waste management and resource efficiency.
