Jakarta, 11 May 2023 – PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP) and PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) won an award at the Indonesia Green & Sustainable Companies 2023 event held by SWA Media Group. This award was given to KPP and UT for consistently implementing the triple-P principles, namely People, Profit and Planet, to generate Sustainability Development.

Awarding presentation was given directly by Kemal E. Gani (Chief Editor of SWA Media Group) to Rapinis Mutiara (President Director of KPP) and Sara K. Loebis (Corporate Secretary of UT) at the Shangri-la Hotel, Jakarta.

In this award, the evaluation criteria include tangible, measurable results, including sustainable business, social inclusion, social welfare and security, good environmental management, and ethical and compliance standards. With this award, KPP and UT were able to demonstrate this achievement through various efforts that have been made in recent years.

In his speech, Chief Editor of SWA Media Group, Kemal E. Gani, said that this award was given as a form of appreciation and a reminder that amid rapid economic growth, companies consistently implement green principles.

“We believe that a green company principles is a must for companies to run. As part of appreciation for this effort, we together with environmental activists held this award to see how far green business principles has been implemented,” said Kemal E. Gani.

In this event, Rapinis Mutiara (President Director of KPP) served as one of keynote speakers who presented KPP’s various efforts to generate corporate sustainability by paying attention to several aspects of its business operations, such as Environmental Variables, Social Variables, and Economic Variables.

This award further encourages KPP and UT to implement green company principles to give positive impact to the environment and the wider community, as well as generate future business continuity.
