Jakarta, March 9, 2026 – PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), a renewable energy company partially owned by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), recorded strong performance throughout 2025. The company posted revenue of IDR 343.3 billion, marking a 43.7% increase compared to the previous year.
In line with increased operational activities, cost of revenue reached IDR 253.6 billion, up 40.6% year-on-year, primarily driven by the finalization process of the Kukusan 2 Project.
ARKO President Director, Aldo Artoko, stated that the operation of the Kukusan 2 Project in February 2026 is expected to contribute positively to the company’s cash flow starting this year, with PLN acting as the sole off-taker of the electricity generated. “As more power plant projects are completed, we remain optimistic about sustaining our commitment to electrifying Indonesia through clean energy utilization while maintaining a sustainable business,” Aldo said.
From an operational perspective, ARKO recorded electricity production of 151.8 MWh in 2025, representing a 56.1% increase compared to the previous year. This growth was supported by the commencement of the Yaentu Project and higher rainfall compared to 2024. This operational performance also drove a 52.9% increase in net profit to IDR 63.9 billion, with net profit margin improving to 18.6%, up by 111 basis points year-on-year.
Throughout 2025, ARKO continued to accelerate the development of run-of-river hydropower projects. One of the key projects is the Kukusan 2 Project with a capacity of 5.4 MW, located in Tanggamus, Lampung, which commenced commercial operations in February 2026. In addition, the Tomoni Project, with a capacity of 10 MW located in East Luwu, South Sulawesi, has shown significant progress. Construction progress increased from 15.5% in 2024 to 58.8% in 2025, with a target completion by the end of 2026.
In September 2025, ARKO also secured a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) from PT PLN for the Pongbembe Project with a capacity of 20 MW. The agreement is valid for 30 years from the project’s commercial operation date and is projected to begin operations in 2030. Construction of this project commenced at the end of 2025, with estimated electricity production reaching 97,218 MWh per year, all of which will be supplied to PLN. The Pongbembe Project is projected to contribute approximately 27.7% of the company’s total energy production from its six projects.
Through its three operating projects, Cikopo, Tomasa, and Yaentu, ARKO successfully recorded greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions of approximately 37,290 tons of CO₂ equivalent throughout 2025. Once all six projects are fully operational, ARKO is projected to achieve emission reductions of up to approximately 181,503 tons of CO₂ equivalent annually, supporting the Government’s target of achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2060.
As part of its commitment to advancing renewable energy development in Indonesia, ARKO will continue to accelerate the completion of its hydropower projects while optimizing the performance of its existing operations.
