A total of eight United Tractors-assisted vocational high schools (SOBAT) from the Jakarta and West Java region participate in the 2026 Heavy Equipment Engineering (TAB) Skill Contest, held at the TTD Workshop in Jakarta on May 25–26, 2026. The competition serves as preparation for the 2026 National Student Skills Competition (LKSN) and as a platform to assess students’ competencies in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrain systems, and pre-delivery inspections, reinforcing vocational readiness and industry-relevant skills. During the opening session, SOBAT Jakarta–West Java Coordinator Safrizal encourages all participants to compete with enthusiasm, confidence, and sportsmanship, emphasizing these values as essential qualities for continuous learning and personal growth.
PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Social Responsibility Leader, Dimas Aryo W, states that the TAB Skill Contest serves not only as a competition but also as a platform for competency development and character building, helping students better prepare for the 2026 National Student Skills Competition. Following a rigorous evaluation process, SMKN 36 Jakarta Team 2 secures first place, followed by SMKN 36 Jakarta Team 1 in second place and SMKN 2 Indramayu in third place. The winning teams earn the opportunity to represent the Jakarta, West Java, and Banten region at the 2026 National Student Skills Competition, where they compete against top vocational students from across Indonesia. Through this initiative, UT continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing vocational education and developing a generation of young talent who are skilled, resilient, and industry-ready.
