Athletes fostered by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) once again make Indonesia proud on the international stage. The Special Olympics Indonesia (SOIna) DKI Jakarta football team secures third place globally at the prestigious Gothia Cup 2025, held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from July 13–17, 2025.

This achievement serves as a tangible testament that consistent support leads to sustainable and meaningful impact. As part of its social commitment, the Company fully supports the athletes’ preparation and departure through the UT Inspiring Youth program, which focuses on youth empowerment, including those with special needs.

“We are proud and deeply inspired by the achievements of these athletes, who show remarkable determination and fighting spirit. For UT, this victory is more than just a win; it is proof of the importance of creating equal opportunities for everyone to grow,” says Himawan Sutanto, UT’s CSR Manager.

In collaboration with the Jakarta Provincial Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora), UT provides complete sports gear for SOIna DKI Jakarta athletes competing in the Gothia Special Olympics Trophy (GSOT) category. Beyond equipment support, UT also involves its employees in a Football Fun Games session with the SOIna athletes before their departure. This initiative serves as an inclusive space for interaction, aligned with the Company’s employee volunteering spirit while promoting unity and inclusion within UT’s work environment.

The Gothia Cup is recognized as the world’s largest youth football tournament and has been held annually since 1975. The GSOT category provides a global stage for young athletes with intellectual disabilities to develop and compete internationally.

Before their departure, the athletes receive a symbolic send-off in a ceremony held at the Dispora Jakarta Office in early July 2025. Representatives from UT and Diaspora attend the event, marking a strong synergy between the private sector and the government in nurturing young sporting talents.

This is not the first time the SOIna DKI Jakarta team participates in the Gothia Cup. They record notable achievements, including gold medals in 2017 and 2024. This year, fueled by a renewed spirit and determination, they once again bring home a medal and uphold their legacy at this prestigious event.

Through this initiative, UT hopes to strengthen ongoing collaboration with strategic partners to create more opportunities for Indonesian youth to grow. By fostering an inclusive and supportive ecosystem, UT believes that everyone, including those with special needs, has great potential to thrive, achieve, and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
