This commitment was demonstrated by PT Patria Maritim Perkasa (PMP) through its Customer Gathering 2026, held in Batam. Carrying the theme “ONBOARD – Opening New Bonds, Opportunities, and Relationships for Development,” the event provided a platform for PMP to strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers while exploring new opportunities for collaboration in the maritime sector. Through a series of activities combining engagement, product experience, and discussions, PMP sought to gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and industry developments.
One of the key highlights of the event was a product showcase featuring ORCA – Next Generation Tug Boat, an innovative tugboat developed by PMP with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. ORCA incorporates a hybrid system equipped with a battery energy storage system (BESS), solar panels, and a ship monitoring system to support more efficient vessel operations while reducing environmental impact.

Beyond the product introduction, customers and prospective customers also had the opportunity to experience the product firsthand through a sailing experience. This experience provided participants with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the technology and capabilities offered by PMP under actual operating conditions.
Direct interaction with customers also enabled PMP to gather feedback and better understand their evolving needs. These insights serve as valuable input for the company in continuously developing products and services that are increasingly aligned with customer expectations and the dynamics of the maritime industry.
