Jakarta, 25 August 2026 – PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) officially acquires 99.9% of the shares of PT Endorshine Energy Solutions (“Endorshine”), a company that owns and operates solar power plants (PLTS) located in Batam and Bintan, Kepulauan Riau. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number AHU-0079773.AH.01.02 Year 2026 dated 22 August 2026, Endorshine effectively operates under PT Arkora Tenaga Matahari (“ATM”), a subsidiary specifically established as the vehicle for acquiring and expanding its portfolio in the solar energy sector.
Endorshine’s shares are purchased from the previous shareholder, Yang Solar Solutions Pte Ltd, with all conditions precedent fulfilled, allowing the transaction to be completed without any further additional processes. As a result, the company officially owns a solar power plant for the first time.
Through this acquisition, the company operates two solar power plants with a total capacity of 21.3 MWp, comprising a facility in Bintan with a capacity of 10.27 MWp and one in Batam with a capacity of 11.05 MWp. This diversification step forms part of the company’s commitment to strengthening its contribution to the development of new and renewable energy (NRE) in Indonesia.
From 2017 to 2025, the company reduces greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 277,241 tons of CO₂eq. With the addition of solar power, the company further positions itself to support the government’s efforts to achieve its Net Zero Emission (NZE) target by 2060, reaffirming the company’s role in the national energy transition.
With this, the company now has a contracted capacity of 84.1 MW, comprising 6 hydropower projects (62.8 MW) and 2 solar power projects (21.3 MWp), with a total pipeline capacity exceeding 300 MW. In other words, this project broadens the diversity of NRE types and the geographic spread of the company’s power plants across the country.
President Director Aldo Artoko said this acquisition is a strategic step in strengthening the company’s position as an increasingly integrated player in the NRE industry.
