PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Central General Hospital (RSCM) at RSCM, Central Jakarta, on (25/11/2023). This signing is related to a collaborative program aimed at reducing obesity rates.

UT Director, Edhie Sarwono expressed that this collaboration is an effort by UT and PAMA to make a tangible contribution to the Indonesian community. Reducing obesity rates is one of the initiatives to realize a healthy society.

“Obesity is not just excess weight; it is also a long-term health issue that is a shared concern of the government. With this, UT and PAMA are collaborating with RSCM to support the obesity reduction program,” said Edhie Sarwono.

The MoU signing was conducted by Edhie Sarwono, UT Director, Ari Sutrisno, Pama Director, and Dr. Sumariyono, SpPD-KR, MPH, Director of RSCM. The MoU process coincided with the 104th anniversary of RSCM. Additionally, the same event included launching an obesity center to address individuals experiencing obesity.

UT and PAMA are committed to creating social benefits within the community by implementing Social Responsibility programs in the health sector. This manifests the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in the company’s every operation.

Through this collaboration, UT and PAMA hope to contribute to improving public health, fostering positive social change, and making a tangible impact on the well-being of the Indonesian community.
