Batangtoru, January 25, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) organized a workshop and presented the results of the Heavy Equipment Technical Education (TAB) development assessment at SMKN 2 Batangtoru, North Sumatra Province. This initiative is part of a joint commitment to develop vocational education in Indonesia. The collaboration also involves UT School intending to create synergy between the business world and industry.

This workshop serves as an opportunity to evaluate the success of the UT Fostered Schools (SOBAT) during 2023 and as a forum to plan programs throughout 2024. This collaboration reaffirms UT and PTAR’s support for vocational education as a key factor in producing skilled workers ready to enter the industrial world.

“In facing the era of Industry 4.0, education plays a central role in creating adaptive and quality human resources. We believe this collaboration will create a generation ready to compete in the workforce. UT will continue to be committed to supporting the Indonesian government’s efforts in developing vocational education through the SOBAT program,” said Himawan Susanto, UT’s CSR Manager.

The main focus of this activity is the importance of vocational education in equipping the younger generation with competencies in heavy equipment.
