PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) launches its waste bank development and mentoring program as part of its commitment to environmental preservation and strengthening the circular economy. The kick-off event takes place at the UT Corporate University Building in Jakarta on April 17, 2025. A total of 40 participants from 7 waste banks under the UT Head Office’s guidance attend the event. The program aims to enhance the performance quality and operational capacity of waste banks so that they can contribute more effectively to waste reduction, particularly at the source.

UT collaborates with PT Lokakarya Inovasi Bersama (JUBELO) as the implementation partner. This strategic partner provides technical and managerial mentoring to improve the operational quality and capacity of waste banks. JUBELO has a strong track record in empowering waste management communities and possesses an extensive network of mentored groups in West Java, Central Java, and Bali. Through this program, UT hopes that its mentored waste banks grow sustainably, focusing not only on environmental aspects but also on the socio-economic empowerment of communities.
