Ternate, 20 January 2026 – Developing competent human resources is one of the key missions of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) in delivering tangible and sustainable contributions to society. As part of this commitment, UT officially hands over one unit of Komatsu PC210 – 10M0 Excavator to the Government of North Maluku Province and donates one Electric Simulator to the Ternate Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP). The support is utilized as learning facilities at BPVP Ternate to enhance the competencies of vocational training participants.

The handover ceremony is held at BPVP Ternate and attended by the Governor of North Maluku Province, Sherly Tjoanda; Vice Governor of North Maluku Province, Sarbin Sehe; Head of the North Maluku Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office, Dr. Marwan Polisiri, SKM., MPH; Head of the Vocational and Productivity Training Center of Ternate in Sofifi, Abdul Aziz, ST., MM; UT Director, Ari Sutrisno; Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo; and Corporate Communications Manager UT, Himawan Sutanto.

In his remarks, UT Director Ari Sutrisno states that the donation is part of UT’s efforts to bridge vocational education with real industry needs. “Today, UT officially hands over one unit of Komatsu PC210-10M0 Excavator and one Electric Simulator to the Government of North Maluku Province. We want BPVP trainees to learn using the same equipment they will encounter in the workplace. We express our appreciation to the Government of North Maluku Province for its support in making this collaboration possible,” says Ari.

The Komatsu PC210-10M0 Excavator is a latest-generation hydraulic excavator in the 20-ton class. In addition, the Electric Simulator is expected to help trainees understand system operating principles while serving as a comprehensive learning and troubleshooting training tool.

North Maluku Province has significant natural resource potential and development opportunities, which require competent, industry-standard human resources. Through this donation, PT United Tractors Tbk hopes to strengthen the local workforce’s readiness to compete and enter the world of work.
