Jakarta, 23 April 2026 – In commemoration of the National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) hosts the Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge 2026 competition. The event takes place on 22 – 23 April 2026 at the Exhibition Area located in the UT Head Office.
This competition not only serves as a platform to demonstrate participants’ capabilities but also as an educational opportunity to advocate for the importance of a health and safety culture in the workplace. The event otherwise fostered solidarity between employees through effective teamwork and communication.
A total of 21 sectors from UT’s operational areas participate in the event, including AHEMCE & Tenant PPI Cakung, YKBUT, Area Yard Sukapura, and Yard Jababeka. The event was officially opened by the Head of Corporate Communications and Head of Sustainability Division, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo.
“This competition is one of our many efforts to foster a culture of occupational health and safety, as well as enhance the preparedness of UT personnel in facing emergency situations in the workplace. We hope that participating members can continue to improve their skills, both in terms of theory and practice, so that they can respond swiftly, accurately, and responsibly,” said Dianwahyu.
The event lasts two days. On the first day, participants received primary training and practical exercises on emergency response. The competition is held on the second day and consists of two stages: a theoretical test and a practical test.
During the theoretical stage, participants are tested on their knowledge and comprehension regarding emergency response procedures. Of the 21 sectors, 10 teams advanced to the next round, where participants were tested on their field practice skills. During this stage, participants take part in fire response simulations using fire extinguishers (APAR), hydrants, as well as first aid procedures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), splinting, and victim evacuation.

A team promptly performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as an emergency response effort to save a victim’s life (left). A team administers first aid through splinting to stabilize the victim’s condition and prevent further injury (right).
All simulations are conducted as an Amazing Race, requiring participants to demonstrate technical agility, team collaboration, strategic thinking, and responsiveness under pressure. The assessment criteria include speed of completion, technical precision, and overall performance.
At the end of the activity, UT announced winners in two categories: Best Team and Best APAR Srikandi. For the former category, Sector 5 5th Floor won first place, followed by Sector 7 – 7th Floor, and finally Sector 16, Triatra Sinergia Pratama Plant in third place. On the other hand, the Best APAR Srikandi was awarded to Devia Diffiani M from Sector 5.
Through this initiative, UT hopes to continue advocating for a safe, responsive, and safety-oriented workplace across all its operational activities.
