Palu, 11 May 2026 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Palu Branch through the Sekolah Binaan United Tractors (SOBAT) program at SMKN 4 Palu once again reinforces their commitment in supporting the advancement of quality education and fostering entrepreneurial spirit among the youth in the Central Sulawesi Province.
This commitment is demonstrated through their support toward the Entrepreneurship Education Competition (EdCO) Governor Cup II 2026 held at SMKN 4 Palu followed by high school and vocational school students across the Central Sulawesi region. The event is also well-supported by the Education Office of the Central Sulawesi Province and attended by the Head of the Education Office of the Central Sulawesi Province, Drs. H. Firmanza DP, S.H., M.Si.
Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division at UT, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo, states that the award serves as a motivation for UT to continue contributing toward the development of vocational education in Indonesia. “UT believes that collaborations between the education and industry sector is an important step toward fostering competent and competitive talents. Through the SOBAT program and the EdCO event, we aim to continue our support advancing youth competency to face future workplace challenges.”, Dianwahyu says.
On this occasion, UT Palu Branch receives two education awards as a form of recognition of their contribution in the implementation of the SOBAT program at SMKN 4 Palu and the Central Sulawesi Province, including an award from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Governor to UT Palu Branch for their contribution in implementing the SOBAT program as well as an award from the Education Office of the Central Sulawesi Province for their support in the SOBAT program across the Central Sulawesi region.
EdCO Governor Cup II 2026 is an event dedicated to developing the entrepreneurial competency of students through a range of competitions, including a Startup Challenge/Pitch Deck, Video Marketing, Marketing Contest, and an Academic Quiz. Through this event, participants are encouraged to strengthen their innovation capabilities, creativity, as well as marketing strategy, allowing them to better equip themselves in facing workplace and industry challenges in the future.
