In the spirit of embracing diversity and strengthening the values of inclusion, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) participates in a talk show titled “Autism is Not a Barrier: Support and Innovation in Creating Employment Opportunities.” The event is organized by the Indonesia Autism Foundation in collaboration with the ASEAN Autism Network and is held on May 22, 2025, at the ASEAN Secretariat Building in Jakarta. This talk show serves as a collaborative space that brings together stakeholders from the government, private sector, and social enterprises to voice the importance of creating inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities, particularly individuals with autism.
UT represents the corporate sector, showcasing its commitment to integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) values into its business strategy. Nurdiansyah Budiman, Organization Productivity & Cost Control Senior Manager at UT, speaks at the event and shares the company’s journey in building a workplace ecosystem that respects diversity. One tangible example of this commitment is the AHEMCE BERSAMA (Act, Collaborate, and Unite All) initiative—a movement designed to foster collaboration and empowerment across the UT Group entities. Through this initiative, UT launches various disability-friendly programs, including internships for people with disabilities at the head office (UTHO), branches, and operational sites. Furthermore, during THE EXPO AHEMCE 2024, UT invites a barista with Down syndrome to participate directly, proving that individuals with disabilities possess the talent and ability to thrive.
The event also features key figures supporting social inclusion, including the Deputy Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection of Indonesia, Veronica Tan; Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN, H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto; and Secretary-General of the ASEAN Autism Network, Prita Kemal Gani. UT’s involvement in the talk show is not just a show of support but a strategic step toward creating safe, equal, and discrimination-free workplaces. UT believes that an inclusive work environment not only provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to grow but also fosters a more prosperous, resilient, and sustainable corporate culture.
