Amid the collective spirit of building an equal and inclusive society, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) receives the Company Empowering Persons with Disabilities award at IBK’s Day 2025. This recognition reflects UT Group’s commitment to providing equal opportunities for persons with disabilities through its internship program, Harmony in Diversity (HARMONIKA).

IBK’s Day 2025 is an annual event organized by Cagar Foundation, which oversees Rumah Autis and Sekolah Shibghah Akhlak Quran (SAKURA). The event serves as a shared platform to raise public awareness and concern regarding the fulfillment of the rights of persons with disabilities, while also encouraging the creation of a more inclusive social environment. This year, IBK’s Day carries the theme “IBK Indonesia Bersinar (United in Voicing Inclusivity Through Work)” and is held at the BJ Habibie Ballroom, Muamalat Tower, South Jakarta, on October 12, 2025.

The Organization Development Team Leader of UT, Luisa Krismaningrum, states that the award reflects the Company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and sustainable work environment. “Through the HARMONIKA program, UT opens opportunities for persons with disabilities to learn, grow, and contribute in a safe and supportive workplace. We believe that every individual has valuable potential when given space and trust,” says Luisa.

IBK’s Day 2025 features a series of educational and appreciation activities, including public outreach, inclusivity talk shows, exhibitions of works by persons with disabilities, and the IBK’s Day Award 2025 Awarding Session, which serves as a platform to appreciate the voices and potential of persons with disabilities. The event is attended by the Director of Health Services for Vulnerable Groups at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Imran Pambudi, MPHM, and the Vice Chair of the National Commission on Disabilities, Deka Kurniawan.

The award received by UT highlights the strategic role of the industrial sector in expanding an inclusive ecosystem. Through the HARMONIKA program, UT consistently provides internship opportunities for persons with disabilities, offering a space to learn, grow, and demonstrate their full potential in a safe and supportive work environment. This initiative aligns with the spirit of IBK’s Day in fostering an inclusive work culture, implementing sustainable empowerment programs, collaborating with disability-focused social institutions, and providing adequate systems, infrastructure, and workplace accessibility.

The organization of IBK’s Day is driven by the reality that many persons with disabilities still do not fully access equal rights, disability-friendly facilities, inclusive education, employment opportunities, healthcare services, independent living, and active participation in society.

The momentum of Persons with Disabilities Day 2025 serves as a reminder that every individual has the potential to create and make an impact. Through the IBK’s Day Award 2025, UT remains committed to supporting persons with disabilities in realizing an inclusive, equal Indonesia that values diversity as a shared strength.
