Amidst the ongoing efforts to nurture creative and competitive young talents, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) receives recognition from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) for its contribution to supporting the implementation of the Indonesian Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival (FIKSI) 2025. The award is received directly by UT’s CSR Team Leader, Dimas Aryo Wicaksono, at the FIKSI 2025 grand event held at the SMESCO Indonesia Building, Jakarta, on (30/10/2025).
FIKSI serves as a platform for high school-level students (SMA/MA/SMK) across Indonesia to channel their ideas, creativity, and entrepreneurial innovation. Through two main categories, Business Planning and Business Development, students are encouraged to generate ideas that are both innovative and impactful for the wider community.
“Our support for FIKSI reflects our commitment to preparing young people who are creative, adaptive, and courageous in developing solutions for society. We believe that the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship needs to be nurtured from an early age to equip them for future challenges. In addition to FIKSI, this commitment is also realized through the Sobat Competition, an annual program independently initiated by United Tractors to foster innovation and collaboration among young generations,” says UT CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto.
For UT, involvement in FIKSI is not merely a form of support but a call to contribute to preparing the next generation to become changemakers. Since 2020, UT consistently plays an active role in the program, from curriculum development and awarding to bridging student innovations with industry and professional work environments (DUDIKA). This year, UT is also entrusted as a member of the judging panel for the Digital Technology and Social Entrepreneurship categories.
Throughout the five-day event, held from October 26 to 30, 2025, a total of 176 finalist teams from 24 provinces compete and showcase their best ideas. The event features not only judging sessions but also product expos, entrepreneurship workshops, and pitching presentations before the panel of judges.
This support aligns with UT’s commitment under the UT for Education and Bright Future (UTFUTURE) education pillar. Through the SOBAT program, UT focuses on capacity building and mentoring across various educational levels. To date, SOBAT supports more than 1,700 schools across Indonesia.
For UT, nation-building is not only about industrial progress but also about ensuring that every young person is given the space to dream, create, and grow into a driver of change. Through this initiative, UT aims to foster the emergence of an innovative generation capable of transforming ideas into impactful solutions and delivering meaningful contributions to society.
