The External SMK3 Audit Process at United Tractors Head Office, Jakarta.

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) continues to prioritize Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) within the company environment by implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) based on Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012. Due to its commitment, UT has achieved a gold rating of 89.7% in the external SMK3 audit on (29/02/2024). The certificate was presented to the Environment, Health, and Safety Department Head, Erika Pratiwi, at the UT Head Office in Jakarta.

“This achievement results from the hard work and commitment of all UT stakeholders to continually maintain and improve OHS standards throughout the Company’s operations. In the future, UT will consistently prioritize the safety and health of its employees by implementing the SMK3 system in its business operations. Additionally, the commitment to prioritizing the safety and health of employees will continue sustainably,” said Erika Pratiwi.

The external SMK3 audit was conducted as part of UT’s commitment to maintaining and improving safety levels in the workplace. Through cooperation with the external audit institution PT Sucofindo, the Company comprehensively evaluated 166 clauses covering various occupational health and safety aspects.

The assessment criteria for SMK3 specified in Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012 include the development and assurance of commitments implementation, the creation and documentation of OHS plans, control of design and review of contracts, document control, purchase and product control, workplace safety based on SMK3, monitoring standards, reporting and deficiency improvement, material management and transfer, data collection and use, SMK3 inspection, and skills and capability development.

The success in achieving the Gold rating is tangible evidence of UT’s commitment to ensuring a safe, healthy work environment in compliance with applicable regulations. This also reflects the Company’s dedication to implementing the best occupational health and safety management practices. This achievement will further encourage UT to improve OHS standards throughout its operations.
