Jakarta, October 31, 2025 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) receives the “Outstanding Contribution to Developing Skilled Workforce and Reducing Youth Unemployment” award at the CNN Indonesia Awards 2025. The award ceremony, held at the Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, recognizes UT’s tangible contributions to developing skilled labor and enhancing youth competency across Indonesia.
This year’s CNN Indonesia Awards 2025 carries the theme “Collaboration and Harmony to Achieve Asta Cita for the Nation,” highlighting the importance of cross-sector synergy in strengthening national development. The event features nominees from various sectors, including ministries, regional governments, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), private companies, state institutions, as well as inspirational figures and individuals from across Indonesia. The award is presented by Transmedia Director, Latif Harnoko, to UT Corporate Communications and Sustainability Division Head, Dianwahyu Sri Purnomo.

This recognition highlights UT’s active role in developing a vocational education ecosystem and enhancing the competencies of young workers in Indonesia. Through the Sekolah Binaan United Tractors (SOBAT) program, UT commits to enhancing the quality of education at vocational high schools, polytechnics, and universities. To date, the SOBAT program has reached more than 1,700 educational institutions across Indonesia, offering comprehensive interventions that cover software, brainware, and hardware development. The program serves as a bridge between the education and industrial sectors, focusing on developing industry-based curricula, improving teachers’ competencies, and providing relevant training facilities.
Through this recognition, UT reaffirms its commitment to strengthening collaboration between industry and education while continuing to deliver sustainable programs that create a real impact on society.
