Jakarta, March 16th,2023 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) received the Top Digital Innovation Awards 2023 from The Iconomics Media on Friday, (17/02), at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Kuningan, Jakarta. This award was given to UT as the Top Configurating, Offering, Experience, Innovation 2023 category.

Head of Corporate Communication UT, Himawan Sutanto said in his speech that this award is a form of the Company’s effort to strengthen and provide digital solutions, especially in the heavy equipment industry. From a business standpoint, UT understands the importance of digital innovation for stakeholder satisfaction. So UT will continue to strive to build and develop a digital ecosystem using the leading and latest technology in creating the Company’s sustainability.

“UT would like gratitude to The Iconomics for the award that has been given to our Company. This award further encourages us to strengthen the Company’s position in implementing digitalization in various scopes expecially in heavy equipment industry,” said Himawan Sutanto.

On the other hand, The Iconomics CEO Bram S. Putro emphasized that his party continues to strive to support business development in Indonesia by giving appreciation to companies active in innovating, especially digital innovation, throughout 2022. In determining actively innovating companies, The Iconomics searched and gathered information using a media monitoring approach.

At this award, UT received an assessment in three aspects of innovation; configuration, offering, and experience. These three aspects focus on internal company innovations that are not related to customers but have an impact on consumers (Configuration), innovations in products and services that are related and have a good impact on customers (Offering), as well as innovations related to service, brand and customer engagement (Experience).

From these three aspects, UT has presented several digital and technological innovations to improve quality and strengthen consumer relationships. These innovations include UT Command Center (operational control center to ensure and improve customer satisfaction), Komtrax (Komatsu tracking), UT Smart (Employee development ecosystem), UT Klik (After-sales service), UT Connect (Platform monitoring machine condition in real-time), UT One (Company internal administration platform).

Most recently, UT has just launched the UT Virtual Museum, which displays the history, portfolio, and achievements of the companies that have worked for more than 50 years in Indonesia, which the public can access.

These digital innovations are UT’s concrete steps as a world-class distributor of heavy equipment, mining, and energy in promoting business diversification using advanced and up-to-date technology to impact all stakeholders positively.

On the other hand, this is also evident of ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance) implementation in every business operation to create a better sustainable future for Indonesian society and have a positive societal impact.
