The outstanding young Indonesian chess player fostered by United Tractors, Adiya Bagus Arfan, won two achievements in the SCUA FIDE Rated chess tournament which took place 12-16 January 2022 at the Utut Adianto Chess School (SCUA) in Rawalumbu, Bekasi.
Aditya’s success in the tournament was winning first place with full points from all rounds played. This victory also earned Aditya the title of Fide Master (FM) where Aditya’s previous title was Candidate Master.
Aditya’s achievement of getting full points in all rounds is considered rare for great chess players in various championships. In the last round, Aditya also proved his capability by defeating senior national chess player IM Sadikin Irwanto.
