United Tractors and Komatsu officially launched their newest Hybrid Excavator product, Komatsu HB365-1. The launching of this product was the first in Indonesia for a 30-ton class to help create an environmentally friendly ecosystem and promote sustainability.
This excavator uses hybrid components that last longer and are reliable in utilizing electrical energy to deliver powerful performance and help reduce emission footprint up to 13kg/hour and save fuel consumption up to 17% compared to the non-hybrid excavator model.
Sara K. Loebis, Corporate Governance & Sustainability Division Head United Tractors, said that the current policy that regulates fuelemission gas is only available for passenger or commercial vehicles and has not been specified for the use of heavy equipment. However, United Tractors and Komatsu constantly support environmental sustainability in Indonesia by providing environmentally friendly products to achieve free of emissions in Indonesia.

Moreover, Etot Listyono, Marketing Division Head of United Tractors, explained that the presence of Komatsu HB365-1 is intended for usage in various sectors such as coal and mineral mining, namely nickel, gold, tin, and bauxite, as well as construction work.
As a pioneer in hybrid excavators in Indonesia, Komatsu has developed hybrid technology research since 1999 and took almost ten years to develop its first hybrid excavator product.

First, Efficient & Ecological Friendly. The Komatsu HB365-1 provides efficiencies for customers who need a large loader that is reliable and can save fuel up to 17%. By reducing the level of fuel consumption, the amount of carbon emissions released is also reduced, which helps preserve the environment.
Secondly, Reliability & Safety. The technology embedded in the Komatsu HB365-1 uses a hybrid capacitor component to store energy and release energy back. Komatsu also manufactures hybrid and other components with a high level of safety and durability to produce optimal performance.

Customers do not need to worry about using this Komatsu HB365-1 product because United Tractors provides a standard warranty of 1 year for unlimited hours and an extended warranty of 4 years or 20,000 hours for hybrid components for free. Komatsu HB365-1 is also equipped with the Komatsu Machine Tracking System (KOMTRAX) feature that can be accessed anywhere and anytime via a computer or mobile device.
