PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Branch Banjarmasin continues its efforts to build sustainability in the operational areas through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the fields of environment, education, health, disaster relief, and economy. Through consistent efforts, UT secured second place overall in the 2024 CSR Award from Banjar District. The award was presented in person by the Regent of Banjar, H. Saidi Mansyur, S.I.Kom, to UT’s ESRO Banjarmasin, F. Sony Indra, located at the Ballroom of Hotel Rodihta Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, on March 7, 2024.

UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto, stated that UT will continue to consistently carry out CSR programs at branches and sites to build a better life for communities and the environment. “The achievement by the UT Branch Banjarmasin further encourages us to contribute more broadly to Indonesia through the five pillars implemented by UT. This is one of the strategic efforts in carrying out sustainable business. CSR programs will be implemented seriously, with the aim of medium- and long-term programs. Through this program, we are determined to be part of the solution to societal issues,” said UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto.

The theme of this award is “Strengthening Independent and Competitive People’s Economy to Support Kalimantan’s Logistics Readiness.” Thus, the indicators used in this award focus on companies that have contributed to improving the economy, the quality of Human Resources (HR), essential infrastructure services, and environmental management to support disaster resilience.

“This award is given as a form of appreciation for the positive contribution of the UT Branch Banjarmasin in assisting regional development and implementing CSR programs that positively impact the people of Banjar District,” said H. Saidi Mansyur, S.I.Kom.

With various CSR program initiatives already underway, the UT Branch Banjarmasin hopes to significantly improve the quality of education, health, the economy, and the environment. Additionally, the optimism and spirit of doing good through various CSR programs can continue to positively impact the sustainability of communities around the Company’s operational areas.
